My artistic endeavors are inspired by landscape and geology. Photographs of places I’ve visited and live are resources and references. As soon as I make a mark on the surface, my interior sense of landscape takes over. Rarely do my paintings reflect precisely what the camera shows; conversely, the same photograph may be the inspiration for many different paintings in many different media.
